It's been a fun packed time in 'sleb world this week, so The Source has decided to bring you a Celebrity Special. Oh yes, watch your back Heat Magazine.

Jail for Lohan

First up La Lohan has been slung into a Los Angeles jail to serve a sentence of 90 days for violation of her probation, imposed in 2007 for drink driving and drug possession offences. Not only has she spent the past few months wandering round in the hot LA sunshine committing crimes of fashion in a series of knee high boots to hide her alcohol monitoring device, but Ms Lohan has also been failing to attend her mandatory alcohol monitoring classes.

At least LiLo's spray tan matches her prison outfits and jump suits are, like, so in this season

Before her incarceration the actress tweeted: "the only bookings that i'm familiar with are Disney films, never thought i would be "booking" into jail....eeeks." Eeeks indeed LiLo. Especially as she's being kept in isolation for fear of attacks by women gangs. Bet she wishes she'd tipped up to those alcohol monitoring classes now.

This is not the actress' first brush with jail. She served a full 84 minutes in an LA jail three years ago. She's expected to be in jail a little longer this time around. Although not by much. With good behaviour, she could be back on the streets in her seasonally inappropriate footwear in just nine days.

Taxing time for Snipes

Lindsay Lohan is not the only Hollywood actor to be faced with some hard time. Wesley Snipes has been sentenced to three years in prison for tax misdemeanours. The Blade actor apparently owes the IRS a cool $13.5m in unpaid taxes.

Despite the court finding that Snipes not only refused to file his tax return but had urged others to follow his lead, Snipes appealed his sentence - the maximum available - as being "unreasonable". According to CNN, he cited his charitable good work - including stints helping to train airline personnel on safety issues post 9/11 - as a mitigating factor. The actor also enlisted his Hollywood mates to make submissions on his behalf, including Denzel Washington, whose letter to the court likened Snipes to "a tree - a mighty oak". Crikey.

He's an ex cop, with a bad mouth, a bad attitude and a bad seat....oh and a large tax bill, a surprising amount of air safety knowledge and a small jail cell

However, tree analogies and air safety expertise were not enough to get the actor off the hook and it seems likely that his three year sentence will stand.

Romance isn't dead

And finally, one celebrity who has managed to stay on the right side of the legal process. Ex-Friends actress, Jennifer Anniston has obtained an injunction against a stalker who apparently drove cross country -  in a car with "I love you Jennifer Anniston" carved into the bonnet and doors - with the idea to locate and then marry her. Flawless plan.

The 24 year old stalker - Jayson Peyton - was arrested hanging out waiting for her in places he believed she frequented, armed with love letters, a sharp object, a roll of duct tape and a list of baby names for the children he hoped they would have together. Not classic ingredients for wooing the object of your affection. And they didn't work so well this time.
