Round I of voting for Glamorous Solicitor of the Year 2012 has been fierce, with 2,000 of you voting for one of twelve effortlessly chic glamorous solicitors.

Charles I admirer Michael T. Tulsa Jnr took an early lead and held onto it for much of the week, only to be pipped to the top spot at the last minute by the excellently-coiffed Dieter Stauder. But sadly we have to say goodbye to the six who garnered the least votes.

Next week another three will be eliminated, before illustrious title of Glamorous Solicitor of the Year 2012 is awarded in the New Year. The winner will receive a chocolate log and our eternal respect.

Is it a co-incidence that Vasily Torkanovskiy's name starts with a V and he looks like the Guy Fawkes mask with that inscrutable fixed grin.

Rainer Elfferding: I love Roky Erikson as much as the next guy, but I don't think I'd trust him with my defence.
