Notorious Kiwi barrister Sacha Beacham was discovered shouting in the streets last week after being convicted of resisting and obstructing police during a New Year's Eve rampage.

Back in January, a thoroughly refreshed Beacham was found clinging to the windscreen wipers of a friend's car by police, who she told to "f**k off" when they attempted to remove her. That earned her a night in the cells, during which time she performed an "indecent act with intent to offend". The mind boggles.

On Friday, as reported by the Hawke's Bay Today, Beacham had her day in court. And was duly convicted for her fifth drink-driving offence. She admitted her behaviour was "entirely misplaced and inappropriate" and was fined $200 plus costs. However it seems that was enough to make her snap.

After leaving court, she screamed abuse at photographers and marched to the offices of local paper Hawke's Bay Today so she could shout "shame on you" at the front door. Her day's work done, she told reporters she was off to the pub.
