Firm of the Year 2013
23 November 2012
Managing Partners across two hemispheres are trembling in their corner offices as the infamous RollOnFriday
UK Firm of the Year and
Australian Firm of the Year surveys are launched for 2013. One firm in each of the UK and Australia will be crowned Firm of the Year while another will be awarded the mystical Golden Turd.
In a year that's been dominated by mergers, out-sourcing and redundancies, it's the survey that says bollocks to partner profits and Swiss verein structures. Instead it focuses on career prospects, pay and other important matters including the quality of law firms' bathrooms and their meeting room biscuits. The results, and searing analysis, will be announced in the new year.

Last year thousands voted for Ince & Co, which took the
Firm of the Year crown for 2012 with a score of 87%, helped by "
wonderfully friendly" staff and "
free booze every month". While
Australian Firm of the Year was scooped by Marque Lawyers, with its "
4pm Pens Down Rule on Fridays"
.
Losers will receive the infamous RollOnFriday Golden Turd. Last year that was
Dickinson Dees, where partnership prospects were, apparently, "s
ignificantly lower than my chances of getting killed by an escaped walrus"
. And in Australia
DLA Piper came last for the second year running scoring a woeful 31%.
It takes less than a minute to send your vote for
UK Firm of the Year or
Australian Firm of the Year.
