Ashurst rocked by chocolate theft

It appears there is a light-fingered lawyer at large in the Ashurst corporate department, judging by this partner's email circulated last Thursday:



At least the partner stopped short of describing the culprit as a thief, unlike the Clifford Chance lawyer in Dubai who was deprived of his pancakes.

    How it might have looked

A spokeswoman for Ashurst said that the chocolates had not been returned, but "in good Ashurst spirit, a few partners from other departments have made some donations and the team would willingly accept more".
