The votes have been counted, verified and double checked and we can reveal that Rainer Elfferding has been crowned Glamorous Solicitor of the Year 2012. Congratulations Rainer.

  First Place: Rainer Elfferding

There were over 16,000 votes in the contest overall, with the lead in the final few weeks swinging between Elfferding and his marvellously-coiffed fellow contestant Michael T. Tusa Jr. But in the end Elfferding's authoritative stance and excellent knitwear won through, and he scooped the coveted Glamorous Solicitor crown with almost 50% of the vote.

Tusa came second and Jeremy Harwood came third.

Second Place: Michael T. Tusa Jr.
    Third Place: Jeremy Harwood

Congratulations to all of the candidates.

Please keep on sending in your Glamorous Solicitor nominations. It's back to business next week as a fresh crop of lawyers will start their campaigns for the 2013 title.

Third place? No wonder Jeremy looks so ... pleased.

No word from Rainer yet on his reaction to the honour. I hope he is delighted.
