Lawyer jailed for allegedly smashing up his office with a sledgehammer

A Dallas lawyer has been jailed for allegedly trashing his office with a sledeghammer and painting penises on the walls. And pooing on the floor.

Disbarred Tom Corea was evicted from his up-scale office last month after falling behind on the rent. According to his landlord's representative, Doug Molny, Corea broke back in and daubed "penis graffiti on every single wall throughout the building". Molny says Corea also tore out cabinets, doors and light fittings and smashed up the granite counters with a sledgehammer. And in a further unsavoury twist, he has accused Corea of defecating on the floor.

Corea's bond has been set at two million dollars. The troubled attorney, who was already out on bail following multiple charges of embezzling client monies, may not have committed the perfect crime. Whoever set to work on the office not only signed the willys 'Tom Corea', they also daubed an insulting message to an Arizona judge who recently found Corea in contempt of court in an unrelated case.

All in all Corea is accused of causing over $100,000 worth of damage. But he's not taking it lying down. While Molny testified in court, Corea was ordered to "refrain from making faces at the witness".
