US District Attorney unmasked as dirty movie star
23 November 2012
A New York District attorney has admitted that he was a porn star in the 1970s.
Mark Suben made the admission after denying for months that he starred in films such as "
Doctor's Teenage Dilemma" and
"Lecher!". However Suben finally called a press conference and confessed that "
I was an actor in adult films for a short period in the early 70s".

Today pillar-of-the-community Suben is a member of the Cortland Rural Cemetery Board of Trustees and the Old Timers Band. But the 69-year-old once enjoyed a prolific career as a professional swordsman under the pseudonym Gus Thomas and featuring prominently in films such as
"Bedroom Bedlam",
"Steam Heat" and
"Babes in Joyland".
The DA, who also played Boris Ballsoff in
It Happened in Hollywood, has apologised and said that his colourful past and subsequent lies showed "
bad judgment". But he rejected calls for his resignation.
Suben's spokeswoman Aimee Milks said that his skin flicks were "
irrelevant", having taken place before he turned to the law. And Suben is probably not that worried about all the fuss, given his role in
"The Love Witch" (1974), where he persuaded a court to throw out charges of sexual licenctiousness using nothing but the power of physical love.
