Horror as Russell Brand smashes law firm's window

Russell Brand has allegedly smashed a window belonging to a US law firm in a shock attack which has left innocent lawyers cowering from sea to shining sea.

During a trip to New Orleans, the snake-hipped fop was irritated by a photographer trying to take his photo on an iPhone (which is no doubt a daily hazard for the former Mr Katy Perry). Brand rushed over, grabbed the offending device, and hurled it through a window belonging to law firm Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles (winner, City Business' Best Places To Work award, 2004-2008).

Pictures from the scene of the carnage show an iPhone-sized hole in the window, and a spokesman for the firm confirmed that a "phone was thrown through our office window".

Brand has been arrested for criminal damage, after turning himself in to the police. Luckily he was good for the $5,000 bail.
